- Onboard dual detergent tanks make cleaning with one or two detergents such as Karcher's SoapPacs a snap
- Total stop function on trigger gun: motor only runs while you spray, reducing noise and power consumption
- Use the included DirtBlaster spray wand to clean heavily soiled brick, stone, concrete, metal and other non-delicate surfaces
- For less intense cleaning, use the adjustable vario power spray (VPS) wand. Simply dial up the amount of pressure you wish to use. Twist to the lowest setting to automatically apply detergent from the built-in detergent tanks
- 1-Year karcher limited warranty

Pros:
I was looking for something to clean the brick pavers in the backyard and driveway. This thing did the job. The vario wand it comes with made my backyard look like new after 3 hours of work. It cleaned thoroughly without the need of detergents (even though I bought it).
*Comes with a 'safety' so kids can't pull the trigger.
*Only sprays when you pull the trigger.
*Be careful with the vario wand....it stripped paint off of wood fencing.
*Super easy assembly and operation. I mean easy.
*Cords were long enough to leave the main unit in one end of the backyard while I walked around with the wand. 25' Wand cord and even longer electric cord.
*Wasn't noisy at all. I thought I would need earplugs but the noise it produces it definitely easy to deal with. No neighbors complained or even peeped out to see what was happeninig. A benefit of electric I guess.
*Got it at Lowes though. Needed it asap.
Cons:
*Needs a way to keep trigger depressed to alleviate hand strain.
*Wheels only roll on rough surfaces. A bit clunky rotating.
*Hard to screw in water hose. I feel the hose entry port should be easier to access. (It's in the front recessed inside the housing)
*Cord storage could be better. It has a hanger on the front but it just barely accommodates the wand cord and electric cord.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. This is my first pressure washer, btw. The cons are not really a big deal to me. The performance blew me away and overrides the small setbacks. |

| I'm a "winter Texan" and used my new Karcher to wash the outside of our mobile. It did a great job. Is it perfect - No. But it is what I expected. Pros: Almost completely assembled and ready to use. Appears to be a quality unit (time will tell for sure). It is easy to work with. Cons: Input water connection is recessed which makes connecting the hose a bit of a chore - and the female hose connector on the machine is made of plastic instead of brass so stripping the threads is a possibility. (I solved both problems by purchasing a "no kink" hose attachment for $6.00 and leave it on the machine) It would be nice if there were some place to wrap the electric cord when not in use. |

| Great power washer, came partially assembled, but no trouble adding the push/pull handle and soap tanks. Water hose connecter isn't a problem, worked flawlessly right out of the box, plenty of pressure settings for water on the spray wand and soap mixing, have not seen a need for the hi pressure spray nozzle attachment yet. I received this Karcher pressure washer in February 2009 and have been using it on average once to twice per month. In my estimation it is not the most powerful pressure washer in the world so if you are interested in cleaning large areas or for any production type work think of looking elsewhere.
On the plus side I have experienced the following:
-good for an afternoon cleaning of a patio, deck, or roof.
-easy to cart around, it isn't too heavy
-very little set up time and no worries regarding a gas engine. Set up, use, and put away.
-We have not experienced any issues with the pump or motor.
On the negative side:
-I let is bounce over a concrete step and one of the wheels cracked. I wouldn't necessarily blame Karcher, but do take care.
-The water inlet is recessed making it somewhat difficult to attach the garden hose. I would suggest buying a no-kink hose adapter to attach to the water inlet so that the garden hose connection is external to the housing.
-In some cases it draws more water than our garden hose can provide leading to what appears to be cavitation... Pausing for a second or two solves this issue and using a large diameter garden hose greatly cuts down on the frequency.
Overall I would recommend this pressure washer. I give this pressure washer 5/5 stars for its good service history and ease of use... even though the somewhat short sighted design of the water inlet required purchase of a ~$5 hose adapter to prevent potential skinning of knuckles...

Bad news - Good news....

After reading countless reviews and on-line articles I dedcided on Karcher. Chose an electric machine since I didn't want the mess and hassel of using and storing gas. First the bad news: Set up unit according to instructions and it leaked. Checked everything close up, discoverd missing "O" ring on end of gun hose connector. Also there was no packing material in the box. Three tabs holding one side of machine had popped out. Since nothing was broken, I put it back together along with an "O" ring. Wheels are very flimsey for a high-end machine, and the input hose connector is not only plastic but requires a chid-size hand to connect the hose without stripping. Since I don't have kid's hands, I a purchased a brass quick-release hose connector ($10)...Good news: Unit works fine. Runs smoothly. So far it has provided consistant pressure to wash my SUV, vinyl siding on house, deck, wood storage shed and white plastic lawn chairs. The extra effort on my part to get it going cost it a 5-star rating.
