| This is a great electric pressure washer. I used it to remove old paint from a deck and mildew from my home's siding. It took a while, but I was very pleased with the results. It had just enough power not to splinter the wood, and still do an adequate job of removing the paint. You can purchase other attachments on their website to make it more functional. I'm using it to power wash everything now, from my truck to the gas grill. I am very pleased with it. |

I recently bought this power washer and all I can say is WOW!
Besides a few small put together items, it pretty much comes packed to use - plug it in, connect a water hose and it's ready to use. Today I power washed the side of our house and the concrete in the front. It even took off some loose paint from the stucco. I was heartily impressed and would recommend this washer to all who need the occasional cleaning. Don't be fooled by the 1750 psi, it's plenty strong enough to remove paint stains from our driveway.
One side note - it comes with a breaker switch connected to the plug-in. Be sure it's not in test mode, it won't work then. You shouuld see a little orange dot showing that it's ready to go.
Happy cleaning! |

| This is my first pressure washer and I have been impressed with its performance. I have cleaned my pool decks and coping as well as my driveway. I thihnk it takes a longer than a gas powered model but it also does not damage the deck. I am pleased. |
Freeze Caution

| Own a slightly older model than this one but it has the same Trigger gun as this model. Unit works well and have had no problems with it. Takes a little while to set up with all the hoses, electrical and loading of detergent but once operating it does the job. I live in climate where it gets below freezing and thought I drained the unit prior to winter so left it in my garage. Big mistake. The trigger gun has a chamber in it that doesn't drain so the water froze and cracked the plastic. Leaked so had to replace it ($40). If you live where it gets below freezing I strongly suggest you bring entire unit inside for winter or at least remove the trigger gun and store that inside. |

I've had a consumer grade Karcher electric pressure washer for a number of years that I purchased from Costco, and the one listed here is no different. It has served me faithfully for many years until yesterday, when I stepped on the input garden hose just in front of its input hose bib - crack!! (*$*&(*$
Its input hose bib was plastic (polycarbonate?) and not strain relieved!!!
I dissasseble the plastic case (deeply recessed torx screws!! - no problem) and discovered that the plastic hose bib is integrated into the cylinder head and was non-replaceable.
Karcher's web site has no useful consumer information re: non-waranty repairs or parts. Only non waranty repairs are for pro-grade gas washers (which have nice brass hose bibs by the way). No parts list available for my model and discontinued.
I ended up encasing the cracked hose bib with epoxy putty. Sealing the margins with RTV silicone, then conpressing the RTV with adhesive conpression tape, so maybe I can finish my deck project before having to buy a new washer.
What I find disheartening is here you have a moderately expensive piece of equipment, ~$200, with moderately expensive components (electric motor, precision machined pistons, check valves, GFI switch, etc.) and it's completely destroyable by a non-replaceable, non-strain relieved, externally exposed, cheap plastic hose bib! They could have put in a brass one, or mechanically supported the plastic one, or even mechanically decoupled the whole thing by a short flexible section of hose!
